While they're on your team, your Moties work exclusively for you, not split across other clients. Motum handles all the legal, payroll, and compliance in the background.
What does Motum handle vs what do we handle?
You own the work: task priorities, technical direction, performance feedback, and team culture. Motum owns the full operational layer — sourcing, screening, vetting, contracts, local payroll, compliance, tax filings, IP agreements, hardware, and ongoing engagement support — for every country we operate in. One consolidated invoice, zero overhead on your side.
How quickly can I get an engineer onboarded?
Most clients receive a vetted shortlist within 5 business days of our discovery call. The full timeline — from first conversation to your engineer's first day — is typically 2-3 weeks, and it depends on your internal interview process and decision speed.
What seniority levels does Motum place?
We focus exclusively on mid-to-staff level professionals. Every candidate has meaningful production experience, prior exposure to US-style product environments, and strong English communication — all validated through our vetting process before they reach you.
Which countries does Motum operate in?

How is this different from outsourcing?
With outsourcing, you hand off a project or deliverable to a vendor who manages the work independently.
